Aims and Objective of the 1000cc F3 Historic Racing Association
To encourage and support the preservation and use of the cars which represent “The pinnacle of the age of innocence”, the 1000cc F3 cars built between 1964 and 1970.
To provide useful and interesting information base for those involved with the ‘Screamers’.
To stimulating, and further the interest of the many supporters of these ‘Proper’ races cars.
Work closely with the HSCC and the Formula Junior Historic Racing Association.
Create a social focal point at HSCC Classic Racing Car races.
Encourage all F3 competitors to park together in the same area of the Paddock.
Arrange for presentation of Awards following races.
Create a centre for: -
Information on cars.
Information/guidance on maintenance and preparation.
Contact details for cars and parts suppliers.
A network for information and news.
A UK base for F3HISTORIC.COM
Through the above it is envisaged that the 1000cc F3 class in the Classic Racing Car Championship will build a strong register of drivers and grow to be able to support its own races. Through this it will provide a natural location to host UK rounds of the Historic F3 1000cc European Trophy's and thus encourage UK competitors to take part in the Mainland European rounds.
